The award-winning campaign combined traditional, practical filmmaking techniques with state-of-the-art Virtual Production technology, produced in collaboration with Stray Vista Studios, one of Texas’ most advanced virtual production facilities. The result: a visually stunning, emotionally resonant commercial that elevated the Rest Duvet brand while showcasing the future of efficient, flexible, and cinematic advertising production.
“Our goal was to craft something beautiful and immersive, a film that shows how Rest Duvet transforms sleep into a sanctuary,” said Lester Platt, Founder and Director of STLL STUDIOS. “By blending practical production design with Virtual Production environments, we were able to create dreamlike worlds on screen while keeping the production nimble and cost-efficient.”

The campaign broke ground by marrying in-camera practical effects — such as rich outdoor textures, controlled lighting, and tactile set pieces — with large-scale LED volume environments powered by real-time rendering. This hybrid approach allowed the team to capture cinematic visuals that felt authentic and lived-in, while seamlessly shifting between locations that would have been cost-prohibitive or logistically challenging to shoot practically.
